McDonald's in Southsea

"I don't drive, and am mostly alone so I order delivery if I want take-out food. This McDonalds is by far the best in Portsmouth. I wait till late at night to order McDonald's because that is the time when this branch becomes available to my location (the one closest to me closes earlier than this one - thankfully!). All the times I've ordered, the food has been tasty. Burgers are loaded and ingredients taste fresh. I never have to wait long for my delivery either. And everything comes packed neatly in a sealed delivery bag. The food is always exactly as I ordered it too, without the ingredients I ask to take off. Great food, great service!"

"Me and my partner had a delivery meal mess up the other day, didnt receive any items we had ordered. We went into this mcdonalds restaurant and a lovley chap called Charlie was the only one to step up and help us and even got out order back after we had been dismissed by another manager. Great service with a smile from charlie and very greatful."

"I am not going to lie been here multiple times aswell as other maccies (peterfield Liphook ect.) And most the time the food is mid to rubbish always cold and the service is usually slow and moody(i know its normal w maccies nowadays). However today I unfortunately had to be that guy and pay with cash. Upon doing so got service by someone with such great manors and attitude to work. No dirty looks no appalled face. Just genuine manors and respect even had to go back and ask for his name. Charlie if your reading this keep it up, thank you for your hospitality."

"Visit once a month, on the way to another venue. As it was 5.15pm, it was obviously busy. Staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming. Easy to order food, which arrived quickly, and hot. Plenty of parking, even though it was busy."

"Nice restaurant and food however I wish they would bring back the triple cheeseburger, also I can't eat the fries because they are not gluten free. However what really annoys me is that the air in the hand dryer (ladies) is always cold and this does not dry the hands at all. Such a waste of resources, there is no point using electricity to run the drier if it doesn't do the job."

"Very busy on match days as it is right next to Fratton Park so best to check if Portsmouth are playing beforehand. Service and food are good, been here several times and never had any issues."
